Remilekun Safaru aka "REMINISCE" is a nigerian Rapper,Singer & Songwriter.
Born January 26th in Kaduna(Northern Nigeria)his love for music was noticed at a very early age.
In 2003, REMINISCE had his 1st professional recording at the CODED TUNES studio, which gave him the opportunity to meet young talents like 9ice,Jahbless & Lord of Ajasa.He recorded an album which was never released due to parental pressure,REMINISCE had to take a temporary break from music.
2008 marked his return with his appearance on his old pal(9ice's) GONGO ASO album.HEe dropped a verse on the track BACHELOR'S LIFE dat also featured SIX O & XP.couple of months after dat he released the banger ONE CHANCE which features another old pal JAHBLESS.the song had massive airplay on radio and was very heavy on the streets too.
Recently ,he has been busy with recordings which brought about joints like "NIGBORO" "GBABE"ft dagrin. collabo's have also been on the increase,notable among these are the street anthem"JOOR OH" by JAHBLESS,TINKON KO rmx by PLUS ONE,the DAGRIN TRIBUTE & very recently the "JOOR OH remix dat features heavyweights like ELDEE,RUGGEDMAN & DURELLA.
In August 2010,2 singles were released. the lead single featues the hitmaker "9ICE" titled "EVER SINCE". they both go hard on dis joint,reflecting on past experiences on the streets,its gettin massive reviews & airplay.
2nd single "IF ONLY" is a fast paced love song which is fast becoming a favorite in lagos clubs.
A video for EVER SINCE will be released in a couple of weeks.
Album titled "BOOK OF RAP STORIES " to be released later dis year.
